Plastic Surgery:
The word plastic comes from the greek meaning molding or giving form. Plastic Surgery encompasses both reconstructive surgery and aesthetic surgery, commonly referred to as cosmetic surgery. Reconstructive surgery restores or improves physical function and minimizes disfigurement from accidents, disease or birth defects. While not essential to physical health, aesthetic surgery can improve the appearance of normal body features and enhance self image.
Office Hours:
The office is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
When scheduling an appointment, please state the nature of your visit so that the appropriate amount of time can be allocated. The nature of our practice is to provide our patients the utmost in care and service. Occasionally an emergency may arise causing a delay in our schedule. We will try to inform you of these delays as far in advance as possible, giving you a choice of waiting or rescheduling, as we are aware that your time is valuable.
Dr.Virden:
Dr. Virden has been a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in Reno, Nevada for the past sixteen years. He has extensive training in all aspects of plastic and reconstructive surgery. His strong interests in Aesthetic Surgery are the face, eyes, nose, breast augmentation, tummy, liposuction, as well as laser surgery and endoscopic (minimal incision) surgery. Dr. Virden has received the honor of being named Reno’s number one Plastic Surgeon two years in a row. His goal is to provide life changing results while providing the best in comfort and genuine care.
Announcing Christine Geis:
We are pleased to inform you that Christine Geis, R.N. has joined with Bella Lago Aesthetics to provide clients with the high-level of care for which she is known. With many years of experience and field expertise under her belt, she is sure to have a truly positive impact on both her clients and her colleagues as well.
Christine has worked as a registered nurse for 20 years after completing her studies at the Medical College of Virginia. She has participated in many advanced classes that focus of using Botox and fillers. Additionally, she has become certified as a laser technician, working diligently at perfecting her technique. Over the past 5 years, Christine has worked in Tahoe as an aesthetic nurse and has been with the Tahoe Forest Hospital for 7 years.
Viewing aesthetic nursing as a form of art, Christine is particularly mindful of her clients’ needs. She is sensitive to the fact that when someone wants a procedure such as Botox, they want the results to look as natural as possible. Due to her attention to each client and her careful, yet highly skilled work, she is known to deliver excellent results—she has built quite a reputation around the Tahoe area for producing subtle changes that leave her clients feeling and looking younger and more refreshed.
Living in Tahoe in for 12 years, and being married for the past 10, Christine has found the perfect place to call home. In addition to the pleasure she finds spending her downtime with her husband and children, Christine loves of all kinds of sports, many of which are enjoyed outdoors. Paddle boarding, skate skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking and sailing are among her favorite recreational activities. She also likes fusion belly dancing.

Bio:
Christine Geis has been an RN for 20 plus years. She attended The Medical College of Virginia. She has lived in Tahoe for twelve years. Christine has also worked in Truckee for twelve years, seven of which she worked at Tahoe Forest Hospital and then five years as an Aesthetic nurse in Tahoe. She has attended many advanced training classes in the use of fillers and Botox. She is also a Certified laser technician. She views aesthetic nursing as an art and she is known for natural results.
