Here at Renovation Medical Spa, the Acne Facial is designed to treat current outbreaks and prevent new blemishes from forming. Acne facials include a variety of medical grade products that will provide deep cleansing, exfoliation, and hydration. Acne Facials often include manual exfoliation and extractions removing visible debris and build up.

What to expect with The Acne Facial

Fighting acne most often requires life-long care. During your appointment, your skin will be dually cleansed using acne fighting products. Oftentimes, steam covers your face in an Acne Facial to help soften the pores allowing an easier and more complete removal of debris. The goal of the acne treatment is to clear blackheads, whiteheads, and remove dead skin from pores; therefore, superficial chemical peels and/or salicylic acid products are commonly applied. Next, your Aesthetician will remove debris either manually or with an extractor. And finally, your Aesthetician will determine if and the type of mask that will be most beneficial to your skin. Once the Acne Facial is completed, a medical grade sunscreen will be applied. You will notice an instant decrease in inflammation and redness. Your skin will possess a nice glow within the next few days.
